The COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) is organizing International Conference on Frontiers of Information Technology – FIT-2016, on December 19-21, 2016, at Islamabad, Pakistan. The CIIT is active in research initiatives and academic activities. The CIIT stands in top 5 in research ranking by Higher Education Commission, as well as it has attained a position in QS Asian University Rankings 2014. The CIIT has a student body of over 22000 enrollments in graduate and undergraduate programs.

The CIIT has been organizing Frontiers of Information Technology (FIT) since 2003, and has emerged as a leading forum in Pakistan for IT professionals and researchers to share and present the latest research trends and results in the field of Information Technology.
