FIT 2026 Call for Papers

23rd IEEE International Conference on Frontiers of Information Technology (FIT'26), scheduled to take place on December 14-15, 2026, in Islamabad, the vibrant capital city of Pakistan. The conference is a premier forum for collaborative research, exchange of experiences and innovative ideas in the field of Information and Communication Technologies. The conference is annually organized with the principal aim of focusing on modern trends pertaining to computer sciences, engineering, and other related areas. COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) has been organizing this prestigious event for the last twenty-two years. Since its inception, the conference provided a cohesive networking opportunity as well as a forum where state-of-the-art research in Information and Communication Technology is shared.

We invite you to submit papers for 23rd IEEE International Conference on Frontiers of Information Technology (FIT'26), and join us in Islamabad, Pakistan, on December 14-15, 2026, to share your cutting-edge research and insights with a global audience of scholars and practitioners. This year the theme for FIT 2026 is: “Artificial Intelligence for Societal Transformation in the Global South: Challenges, Opportunities, and Responsible Innovation”.

FIT 2026 is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Islamabad Section and accepted papers will be submitted for possible inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. FIT-2026 TRACKS

The Technical Conference Program will include, but is not limited to, the following major tracks, addressing all aspects of the stated theme:

  • Data Engineering and AI Systems
  • Computer Vision and Image processing
  • Software Engineering
  • Cyber Security and Digital Forensics
  • Cloud and High-performance Computing
  • Next Generation Communication Systems & HPC
  • Remote Sensing and Geospatial Information Technology

The Technical Conference Program also includes Ph.D. Symposium for young researchers to present their ongoing research work, and Tutorials for field experts on emerging subjects in information technology.

Researchers and practitioners with interest in any of the above stated tracks are invited to submit their original unpublished work as per IEEE conference proceeding format latest by July 31, 2026. Submitted papers will go through an intensive peer review process on the criteria of originality and relevance of work.
